People belonging to flood-affected areas must first check their eligibility by visiting the 8171 web portal. After going to the portal, you have to enter your ID card number and the code provided in the image. Immediately after, the system will show you the complete information about your eligibility on the screen after the completion of the verification process. If you meet the eligibility criteria and your registration has not been completed, you will be asked to complete the registration at the nearest Benazir Income Support Program office. After which, you have to take all your necessary documents with you to complete the registration.
People who get worried because they don’t know that they have to pay some kind of fee for registration. So such people do not need to worry; let me tell them that you do not have to pay any kind of fee to complete the registration. You don’t need to pay any kind of fee, even while receiving the money.
Documents required to complete the registration

- Proof of income
- Proof of residence, such as an electricity or gas bill
