Punjab Bike Scheme 2024
The Punjab government has started the registration phase for the distribution of bikes among students under the Punjab Bike Scheme. Let us tell you that within the first phase of this scheme, 20,000 lucky male and female students will be able to get motorbikes after completing the registration. The last date to complete the registration is April 29th. Interested students can complete their registration with the help of the link given below.
Before proceeding to further details, let us tell you that these bikes are being provided free of interest by the government. Aspiring students can get the bikes by paying only a 20% down payment.

Bike Scheme Financing Limit
If we talk about the financing limit of the bike scheme, then let us tell you that under this scheme, you can obtain an electric bike worth up to 2.5 lakh rupees and a petrol bike worth up to 1.5 lakh rupees. Further, if any student wants to get the bike for more than this price, he or she has to pay an additional amount to the Bank of Punjab. The Punjab government will not charge more than the amount mentioned above. Apart from this, let me tell you that you can only select from the available bikes on the portal; you cannot express your wishes to get any bike separately.
Quota For Male & Female Students
The number of bikes to be provided by the government in the first phase of the scheme has been set at 20,000. This includes 19,000 petrol and 1,000 e-bikes. Out of 19,000 petrol bikes, 11,676 bikes have been allocated for male students and 7,324 bikes for female students. And if we talk about electric bikes, their number is 1,000, which will be provided only in five cities in Punjab in the first phase. These cities include Faisalabad, Bahawalpur, Multan, Lahore, and Rawalpindi.
