Overview of the Kisan Card

The Kisan Card Plan is an initiative launched by the Punjab government under which agricultural loans worth Rs 300 billion will be given to poor farmers annually. According to Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, farmers who meet the eligibility criteria will be able to get a loan of up to 1.5 lakh rupees for one crop per year. Along with this, farmers will be able to buy fertilizers, seeds, and other agricultural goods at cheap prices through this card.

  • Proof of Punjab Resident (Electricity or Gas Bill)
  • Proof of monthly income
  • Evidence of land registration at the Land Record Center
  • Proof of not being a defaulter in any financial institution
