The Government of Pakistan has launched a Benazir Nashonuma Program for pregnant women, lactating mothers, and children under two years of age with the support of the World Food Organization under the auspices of BISP.

Apart from this, about 18 percent of children are under 5 years of age, and their weight remains low for their age. Similarly, pregnant and lactating women also suffer from nutritional deficiencies. Benazir Nashonuma Program New Registration

The registration process for the Benazir Nashonuma Program is ongoing. And the BISP has made the registration process even easier. Now you can complete your registration after completing a few easy steps. Those few easy steps are as follows:

• Nashonuma centers have been established in the district headquarters hospital within each tehsil to register in the program on behalf of the Government of Pakistan.
• First of all, make sure that you fulfill all the conditions set by the government for registration.
• After that, visit the Nashonuma center in your nearest district headquarters hospital.
• After visiting the Nashonuma center, complete your registration with the representative present there.

Required Document for Registration

The purpose of the Ehsaas Nashonuma program

The program aims to achieve several key objectives, including preventing chronic malnutrition and stunting in children under two years of age, promoting weight gain in pregnant women, reducing anemia and micronutrient deficiencies, enhancing awareness of maternal and childbirth health, and optimizing the use of existing health and nutrition services to alleviate the burden of disease.

Ehsaas Nashonuma Centers

Under the Benazir Income Support Program, financial assistance is provided to women who have completed registration in the Benazir Nashonuma Program on a monthly basis. These development centers have been established at Tehsil Headquarters Hospital. Women can go and complete their registration here with all their necessary documents.

Assistance received upon joining the program

Following is a description of the assistance received upon joining the program.

• Pregnant women will be given Rs 2,000 per month during pregnancy.
• On the birth of a child, if a son is born, then 1000 rupees per month, and if a daughter is born, 2500 rupees per month will be provided.
• Along with this, five hundred rupees will be paid towards travel expenses.
• Note that this amount will be received separately from the BISP kafalat amount.
