The Benazir Kafalat Program is a key social welfare initiative launched by the government of Pakistan. The purpose of this is to provide cash financial assistance to disadvantaged families, especially deserving women, to meet their basic needs.

Until the end of the year 2023, the active beneficiaries of the Kafalat program were provided financial assistance of up to 8500. But considering the back-breaking inflation in the country, this aid has now been increased to 10,500 by the government of Pakistan. Along with this, additional support services like education, health care, and training are provided separately to active beneficiaries.

You can check the eligibility of the Kafalat program at home in two ways. I will let you know both ways here.
Check via 8171 Web Portal
The first method is to check eligibility online. In this way, you can go to the 8171 web portal established by the Benazir Income Support Program and enter your ID card number to determine your eligibility. In this method, you must have a good internet connection to determine eligibility because the web portal can be accessed only through the internet.
Check via SMS
In another way, eligibility can be checked through SMS. In this method, you have to write down your ID card number and send a text message to 8171 to check your eligibility. After which, you will immediately receive a reply SMS from the Benazir Income Support Program. where complete information about your eligibility and your balance will be provided.

Benazir Kafalat Program Apply Online
If you wish to complete your online registration in the Benazir Kafalat program while sitting at home, So let me make one thing clear to you: currently, no facility is available to complete the online registration of the Kafalat program on behalf of the Benazir Income Support Program. So if you want to complete your registration, then you have to go to your nearest established BISP tehsil office. After going there, you will be able to become a part of the Kafalat program by completing your survey registration process.
Benazir Kafalat Latest Updates
According to the latest updates, many women are being disqualified from the Kafalat program despite the recent increase in stipends provided by the Benazir Income Support Program. The major reasons for this are changes in eligibility criteria, excellent financial conditions, and poverty scores exceeding the prescribed limits. If you feel that you meet all the eligibility criteria despite being disqualified, So in this case, you can go to the nearest BISP office and file an appeal to get re-eligible.
After which, if your appeal is approved, you will be asked to complete the survey registration process again. If, during the survey, you are found to fulfill all the eligibility requirements, then you will be re-eligible for the program. And you will be able to get financial assistance in the future.
